Description
Protestors gather in 1999 for a 24-hour encampment to protect it from demoliton. Protestors built barricades and campred out in the garden. They slept in the Coqui, a large, frog-shaped tree house and a symbol of Puerto Rico. The garden was ultimately destroyed by the city, without permission from the judge, prompting him to issue a restraining order on the city, saving hundreds of gardens in the process.
