Judah
The earliest information about Judah is traced to a 1751 baptismal documentation found in the records of Presbyterian Church in Southold. Judah and her five children, Dorcas, Matilda, Violet, Thankful and Shuboul, were in the enslaved to John Corey. In his will, John Corey bequeathed Judah to his wife, Dorothy. Matilda and Violet were to become the properties of his daughters; Shuboul went to his son and the rest were sold.
